Golden Aspen started her career in March 2021 and took 13 runs to win her Maiden, but she's won another six races since - the latest a 1200m Handicap success at the Vaal on 7 May.

Golden Aspen's career record now shows 67 runs for seven wins and 27 places, with R615,000 banked - testimony to expert placing by Corne Spies. She's the kind of filly everyone wants to own, one that delivers joy and fun while earning her way, and whose potential is carefully developed in accordance with ability shown. She's been versatile, winning from 1200m to 1500m and she's earned at four racecourses.

With her merit rating still under 70 after what she's achieved, Golden Aspen has good prospects of earning again for Coenie Strydom, and Jannie de Lange's Waste Glass Recovery (Pty) Ltd, who own her in partnership with Spies Racing.
