Corne's first 'July' runner

Hazy Dazy, well drawn at Number 3. (JC Photos).

Leading race filly Hazy Dazy was included in the final field for the R10-millon Hollywoodbets Durban July on 6 July at Hollywoodbets Greyville. While Tobie Spies finished fourth with Yardmaster in 1988, this is Corne's first runner in South Africa's flagship race.

He said: "We are all excited and we are confident Hazy Dazy will run well. She needed her run after a break in the Grade 1 Daily News, and she's come on a lot since then. We have her just about spot-on. Regular rider Trent Mayhew has been booked, also for his first appearance in the big race.
